Questions

  • Choose a quiet and comfortable space where you will not be interrupted. Soft lighting, headphones, or a notebook may support attentiveness. Most importantly, arrive with a willingness to turn inward and allow the session to unfold without strain.

  • No prior experience is required. Hypnosis and meditative awareness are natural forms of focused attention, familiar to many people through daydreaming or the threshold states surrounding sleep. Openness and curiosity are more important than expectation.

  • Each modality engages a different mode of reflection.

Hypnotherapy supports integration, pattern recalibration, and behavioral change through guided hypnotic work.

Lucid Liminal Meditation offers a contemplative encounter (intuitive reading) during periods of transition or uncertainty, allowing symbolic understanding to emerge through Sander.

Bibliotherapy gathers individuals or small coteries into reflective dialogue around carefully selected literature as a shared contemplative practice.

You may begin with any modality.

  • Some clients arrive for a single session, while others choose to work across a short series.

Hypnotherapy often unfolds across several sessions. Lucid liminal meditation is typically engaged more sparingly. Bibliotherapy is offered for a single session or structured as a series within a consistent coterie.

Rhythm and duration remain responsive to the work as it develops.

  • Individual sessions are conducted in strict confidence and are never recorded.

In shared settings, including bibliotherapy coteries, participants are encouraged to treat what is shared with discretion and respect. Because multiple individuals are present, confidentiality cannot be formally guaranteed.

  • Most engagements take place through live, encrypted video sessions, allowing continuity and discretion regardless of location.

Occasional in-person engagements may be arranged by request.

  • No. All work at Studio Somnus is reflective and non-clinical in nature and does not replace care provided by licensed medical or mental health professionals.

Individuals experiencing acute distress or requiring immediate support should seek appropriate clinical or emergency services in their location.

  • Individual sessions are sixty minutes in duration. Orientation and integration are included within the session time.

  • An intake form is required for hypnotherapy and bibliotherapy to tailor the sessions based on the client’s needs. The form is completed once at the beginning of the work. A private link is provided after the first session is confirmed.

Lucid liminal meditation does not require prior assessment.

  • Individuals may inquire about placement within an existing coterie when space permits. Some reading themes recur periodically, and individuals may request notification when a suitable coterie forms.
